<p><p><b>Job Overview : </b><br/><br/>The Application Testing Team is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to architect, develop, and maintain a scalable and intelligent test automation framework.<br/><br/>This role requires hands-on expertise in traditional test automation tools like Selenium, along with modern AI-powered testing platforms such as TestRigor and Testim.<br/><br/>You will play a key role in accelerating release cycles, improving software quality, and reducing manual testing efforts through innovation and automation.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design and build scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Evaluate and implement AI-powered test automation tools such as TestRigor, Testim, or Mabl to improve coverage, test creation speed, and test maintenance.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and DevOps to align test coverage with business goals.<br/><br/>- Drive adoption of AI-based test case generation, self-healing scripts, and intelligent test prioritization.<br/><br/>- Ensure framework extensibility for web, mobile, and API layers.<br/><br/>- Review code for test scripts, enforce coding standards, and ensure high test reliability and maintainability.<br/><br/>- Provide documentation, training, and support to team members on using and extending the automation framework.<br/><br/>- Continuously monitor test execution, analyze flakiness, and optimize for performance and accuracy.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<br/><br/>- 5-7 years of experience in test automation development.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with Selenium and core automation principles.<br/><br/>- Programming proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET.<br/><br/>Experience with at least one AI-powered test automation platform, such as : <br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with REST API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).<br/><br/>- Good understanding of test lifecycle management, version control (Git), and Agile processes.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Experience integrating AI tools in enterprise test automation frameworks.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of self-healing automation, intelligent locator strategies, or test impact analysis.<br/><br/>- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
