<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Technical Support Engineer.<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 2+ Years.<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Bangalore.<br/><br/><b>Job Type : </b> Full-time.<br/><br/><b>Department : </b> Application Support / Customer Success.<br/><br/><b>About the Company :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are a leading IT product company specializing in solutions for the manufacturing industry.<br/><br/> Our offerings spans across web-based applications and handheld device integrations built on cutting-edge technologies like ASP.NET, C#, SQL, SAP, and more.<br/><br/> Our mission is to digitally transform shop floor operations through innovative and scalable products.<br/><br/><b>Role Overview : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a solid understanding of Web applications, who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve product issues reported by customers.<br/><br/> The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2/L3 support for our manufacturing domain solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide technical support to clients for web and handheld-based applications.<br/><br/> - Handle incident tickets, analyze logs, replicate issues, and offer timely resolutions.<br/><br/> - Perform root cause analysis and suggest preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.<br/><br/> - Work closely with development, QA, and deployment teams to ensure bug fixes are implemented effectively.<br/><br/> - Support data extraction, debugging, and database-level fixes using SQL queries.<br/><br/> - Troubleshoot web-based front-end issues involving JavaScript, jQuery, and browser compatibility.<br/><br/> - Support WCF service issues, integration errors with SAP, or other third-party systems.<br/><br/> - Participate in product upgrade support, patch deployments, and post-release validations.<br/><br/> - Document support procedures, known issues, and troubleshooting guides.<br/><br/> - Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and internal teams.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or related field.<br/><br/>- 2+ years of experience in technical support or application maintenance for enterprise-level web applications.<br/><br/> Strong hands-on knowledge of : <br/><br/> - SQL Server : Writing queries, stored procedures, debugging.<br/><br/> - Debugging tools : Fiddler, browser dev tools, Postman, etc.<br/><br/> - Exposure to SAP (integration perspective) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/><br/>- Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and how IT systems integrate with shop floor operations.<br/><br/>- Exposure to IIS server, deployment scripts, and configuration.<br/><br/><b>What We Offer : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Opportunity to work on industry-leading products in the smart manufacturing space.<br/><br/>- Collaborative work environment with cross-functional exposure.<br/><br/>- Learning and growth opportunities with access to internal training programs.<br/><br/>- Health benefits, paid leaves, and a flexible work culture.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
