We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to join our team, focused on the verification of safety-critical avionics systems compliant with DO-178B/C standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform requirements-based testing in compliance with DO-178B/C (Level A/B/C) standards.
• Develop test cases, test procedures, and test scripts for HSIT, SIT, and Unit Testing.
• Conduct reviews of high-level and low-level requirements for testability and traceability.
• Perform code reviews, test reviews, and verification of software artifacts for correctness and completeness.
• Execute test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and ensure requirement compliance.
• Support Data Coupling and Control Coupling analysis as per DO-178B/C guidelines.
• Perform structural coverage analysis including MC/DC and Statement/Decision coverage.
• Ensure full traceability from requirements through to test evidence.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support audits and reviews by internal and external certification authorities.
Primary Skills:
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with DO-178B/C compliance activities.
• Proficiency in Python for automated test scripting.
• Experience with LDRA or similar software verification tools.
• Thorough understanding of HSIT/SIT/Unit Testing concepts and processes.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools like JAMA.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as GIT.
• Experience with change management tools like JIRA.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies in a safety-critical project environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in Verification & Validation of embedded systems/software in the aerospace domain.
