<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Why We Need You The Mission & Our Vision :</b><br/><br/>Veryon is a leading software and technology company that enables aviation teams around the world to improve efficiency and safety.<br/><br/>Our products maximize uptime for aircraft maintenance teams through customer-driven innovation and world-class service.<br/><br/>With over 7,500 customers across 137 countries, we serve general and business aviation, military/defense, commercial aviation, and OEMs.<br/><br/>Our valuesFueled by Customers, Win Together, Make It Happen, Innovate to Elevateare the foundation of everything we do.<br/><br/>As a Cloud Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing, securing, and optimizing our multi-cloud environments.<br/><br/>Youll bring strong expertise across AWS and Azure, along with knowledge of networking, DevOps, and endpoint support.<br/><br/>This role will also lead our cloud security initiatives, ensuring compliance, resilience, and innovation as we continue to scale.<br/><br/><b>What Youll Accomplish Your Performance Objectives :</b><br/><br/><b>Objective 1 First 30 Days :</b><br/><br/>- Complete onboarding and gain familiarity with existing AWS and Azure environments, SaaS integrations, and hybrid cloud connectivity.<br/><br/>- Build relationships with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and IT Support teams.<br/><br/>- Review current IAM, cost management, and security practices.<br/><br/>- Establish escalation procedures for IT support and network troubleshooting.<br/><br/><b>Objective 2 First 90 Days :</b><br/><br/>- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of cloud infrastructure, security posture, and spend optimization opportunities.<br/><br/>- Develop a prioritized roadmap for cloud security improvements (IAM, zero trust, monitoring, compliance).<br/><br/>- Implement automation and IaC practices for provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Begin standardizing operational processes for monitoring, backup, and incident response.<br/><br/><b>Objective 3 First 12 Months :</b><br/><br/>- Deliver measurable cost savings and performance improvements through optimization initiatives.<br/><br/>- Successfully roll out at least two major cloud security enhancements (e., zero trust, automated vulnerability remediation, compliance reporting).<br/><br/>- Mature the multi-cloud strategy, ensuring seamless integration across AWS, Azure, and enterprise IT.<br/><br/>- Mentor team members and establish cloud best practices across DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams.<br/><br/>- Provide regular reporting on cloud availability, security posture, and efficiency metrics.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/><b>Key Job Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/>- Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, SaaS).<br/><br/>- Oversee cloud security strategy, including IAM, compliance, and monitoring.<br/><br/>- Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code for repeatable deployments.<br/><br/>- Support and escalate IT issues where required.<br/><br/>- Manage core networking (VPC, VPN, DNS, routing, firewalls).<br/><br/>- Partner with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and release processes.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and IT teams to ensure seamless operations.<br/><br/>- Develop documentation, policies, and training for cloud security and operations.<br/><br/><b>Experience And Skills We Seek :</b><br/><br/>- 5+ years experience managing AWS and Azure environments in enterprise settings.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, VPN, load balancing, DNS, routing).<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab, Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Background in cloud security, IAM, compliance frameworks, and monitoring.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with IT support and endpoint management (Intune, MDM, OS troubleshooting).<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.<br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Certifications :</b><br/><br/>- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator.<br/><br/>- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect.<br/><br/>- CompTIA Security+, CCSP, or other cloud security certifications.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
