<p></p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/>Job Summary :<br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.<br/><br/>This role will be critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud infrastructure and services.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design and implement robust cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection controls.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud engineering, and application teams to integrate security into cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).<br/><br/>- Configure and manage cloud-native security tools and services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center).<br/><br/>- Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and cloud security posture management.<br/><br/>- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).<br/><br/>- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud-related security incidents and vulnerabilities.<br/><br/>- Conduct regular cloud security reviews, audits, and penetration testing.<br/><br/>- Automate security operations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.<br/><br/>- Evaluate and implement third-party security solutions for enhanced protection and visibility.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to the overall security awareness across teams.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.<br/><br/>- 7+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 3+ years in cloud security engineering.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including their native security tools and services.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, network security, and encryption.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with security automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).<br/><br/>- Experience with SIEMs, CSPM tools, and security incident response in cloud environments.<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>Relevant cloud or security certifications, such as :<br/> <br/>- AWS Certified Security Specialty.<br/> <br/>- Microsoft Certified : Azure Security Engineer Associate.<br/> <br/>- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.<br/> <br/>- CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.<br/><br/>- Experience with container security (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AKS).<br/><br/>- Exposure to Zero Trust Architecture and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) concepts.<br/><br/>- Experience working in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, etc.).<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.<br/><br/>- Proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.<br/><br/>- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.<br/></p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
