<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Job Title : </b> GCP Data Engineer<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Pune (EON IT Park)<br/><br/><b>Work Mode : </b> Onsite<br/><br/><b>Shift Timings : </b> 10 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM<br/><br/><b>Experience Required : </b> 4 - 8 years<br/><br/><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/>- We are looking for a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our team.<br/><br/>- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.<br/><br/>- This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.<br/><br/>- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.<br/><br/>- Implement data models, including SCD Type 1 & Type 2, normalization, and best practices for data warehousing.<br/><br/>- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all pipelines and data processes.<br/><br/>- Optimize performance and cost of cloud-based data solutions.<br/><br/>- Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprints, code reviews, and deployments.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Core : GCP, Python, BigQuery, SQL/PLSQL<br/><br/>- Secondary : Data Warehousing, ETL Fundamentals<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.<br/><br/>- Experience with large-scale data integration and migration projects.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of cloud-native development and CI/CD processes.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with Data Quality implementation in ETL pipelines.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira.<br/><br/>- Telecom domain knowledge.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
