<p>Role : Workday Techno-Functional Consultant<br/><br/>Location : Chennai<br/><br/>Job Type : Full-time<br/><br/>About the Role : <br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Techno-Functional Consultant with 4-8 years of experience to<br/><br/>join our dynamic HR Technology team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both technical<br/><br/>and functional aspects of Workday, enabling seamless integrations, custom reporting, and configuration<br/><br/>across multiple Workday modules.
This role requires a consultant who can partner closely with HR and IT<br/><br/>teams to design, implement, and optimize Workday solutions that meet business requirements.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities : <br/><br/>- Design, develop, and support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio tools<br/><br/>to ensure data flows smoothly across systems.<br/><br/>- Configure security settings to ensure appropriate data access and compliance with Develop custom reports and calculated fields to provide actionable insights to business users.<br/><br/>- Lead data conversion activities during Workday implementation or upgrades, ensuring data<br/><br/>integrity and completeness.<br/><br/>- Provide functional expertise and configuration support for Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent &<br/><br/>Performance, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, and Benefits Administration modules.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and<br/><br/>troubleshoot issues.<br/><br/>- Participate in Workday upgrades and releases, evaluating impacts and implementing necessary<br/><br/>changes.<br/><br/>- Document configuration, integration design, and business processes to support knowledge<br/><br/>transfer and audit compliance.<br/><br/>- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders as required.<br/><br/>Required Qualifications : <br/><br/>- 4 to 8 years of experience as a Workday Techno-Functional Consultant or similar role.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with Workday integrations including EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in building custom reports and calculated fields.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of Workday security configuration and role-based access controls.<br/><br/>- Experience in data conversions and migrations within Workday projects.<br/><br/>- Functional expertise in Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Absence<br/><br/>Management, Payroll, and Benefits Administration.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/>Preferred Skills : <br/><br/>- Workday Certification(s) in relevant modules.<br/><br/>- Experience with Workday implementation lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.<br/><br/>- Exposure to other HRIS or ERP systems is a plus.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
