<p>We are only looking for candidates based in Bangalore or nearby.
The last round will be face-to-face.<p><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our team.<br/><br/>This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that power critical business processes for our customers.<br/><br/>You will work on complex system design, deliver high-quality features, and influence the technical direction of our products.<br/><br/>Candidates should have strong expertise in either Ruby on Rails or Golang and be open to learning and collaborating across different stacks.<br/><br/><b>Role & Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead the creation, development, and implementation of critical system design changes, new features, and enhancements.<br/><br/>- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following development standards and best practices.<br/><br/>- Partner with Product Managers, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.<br/><br/>- Conduct reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.<br/><br/>- Continuously improve product quality, performance, and security through design and process improvements.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term fixes that improve system resilience.<br/><br/><b>Requirements & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.<br/><br/>- Expertise in either Ruby on Rails or Golang (deep knowledge of at least one, with willingness to learn the other).<br/><br/>- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services design.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in Linux environments.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.<br/><br/><b>Nice to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Front-end development experience (ReactJs, Backbone.js, or modern frameworks).<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).<br/><br/>- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.<br/><br/>- Prior experience in SaaS or enterprise-grade product development.<br/><br/><b>What We Offer :</b><br/><br/>- Opportunity to work on high-impact systems used by leading customers.<br/><br/>- Collaborative and innovative work environment with growth opportunities.<br/><br/>- Competitive compensation and benefits package.<br/><br/>- Learning opportunities across multiple technology stacks.</p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
