<p><p><b>Position Overview :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a skilled Data Science Senior Developer with 5- 7 years of experience to join our growing analytics team.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft's data platform ecosystem and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics initiatives.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>Data Analytics & Visualization :</b><br/><br/>- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create compelling data visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize Power BI performance and implement best practices for data modelling.<br/><br/><b>Data Platform Management : </b><br/><br/>- Develop and manage data solutions using Microsoft Fabric for unified analytics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and implement data Lakehouse architectures and manage fabric workspaces.<br/><br/></p><p>- Utilize Fabric's capabilities for data engineering, data science, and real-time analytics.<br/><br/><b>Data Integration & Pipeline Development :</b><br/><br/>- Build, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).<br/><br/></p><p>- Design data integration workflows to move and transform data from various sources.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data integration issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement data validation and quality checks within pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Automation & Scripting :</b><br/><br/>- Develop PowerShell scripts for data processing, automation, and system administration tasks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Automate routine data operations and maintenance tasks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create scripts for data deployment and environment management.<br/><br/><b>Data Management :</b><br/><br/>- Work with Microsoft Dataverse to manage and organize business data.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and implement data models within Dataverse.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate Dataverse with other Microsoft ecosystem tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure data governance and security compliance.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b><br/><br/><b>Experience & Education :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 3- 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, business intelligence, or data analytics roles.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Power BI : Advanced proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, DAX calculations, and data modelling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Microsoft Fabric : Experience with Fabric workspaces, data engineering, and analytics capabilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Azure Data Factory (ADF) : Strong experience in building and managing data pipelines, data flows, and integration workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- PowerShell Scripting : Proficiency in writing scripts for automation, data processing, and system management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Microsoft Dataverse : Experience in data modelling, entity relationships, and integration.<br/><br/><b>Additional Technical Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of cloud computing principles, preferably Microsoft Azure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with version control systems (Git).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications(Optional) :</b><br/><br/>- Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Analytics Engineer).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and implementation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Previous experience in a similar industry or domain.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/></p><p>- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborative mindset and team player attitude.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
