Discovery the stuff dreams are made of.<br/><br/>Who We Are :<br/><br/>When we say, the stuff dreams are made of, were not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth.<br/><br/>Behind WBDs vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating whats next.<br/><br/>From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves.<br/><br/>Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.<br/><br/>Your New Role :.<br/><br/>The Sr. Engineer, SAP Release Management, will be responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining SAP Release management tools as well as assist with planning, executing, and ensuring the successful release of SAP solutions across the SAP eco system.<br/><br/><b>Your Role Accountabilities :</b><br/><br/><b>DESIGN, CONFIGURE AND MAINTAIN RELEASE MANAGEMENT TOOLS</b><br/><br/>- Design and implement SAP Release Management tools, such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP BTP CTMS.<br/><br/>- Ensure all tools are configured and maintained to support efficient and effective release management.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain release documentation, including release notes, technical guides, and user documentation.<br/><br/>- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.<br/><br/><b>RELEASE PLANNING, EXECUTION & DEPLOYMENT</b><br/><br/>- Assist with developing and maintaining the organization's release management process for the SAP eco system.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with development and functional teams to plan and prioritize SAP releases, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.<br/><br/>- Create release packages and schedules, release calendar, including timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.<br/><br/>- Assist with the execution of SAP releases, ensuring timely completion and minimal impact on business operations.<br/><br/>- Coordinate with development and functional teams to validate release artifacts, including code, configurations, and documentation.<br/><br/>- Assist with managing release lead times and cut-off times, ensuring timely completion and minimal impact on business operations.<br/><br/>- Assist with developing and maintaining deployment plans, including scripts, tools, and processes for deploying SAP releases to production environments.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with SAP deployment best practices, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.<br/><br/><b>SOLUTION MANAGER AND CHARM</b><br/><br/>- Design, Configure, and test Solution Manager connections across the SAP landscape SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA GRC etc.<br/><br/>- Assist with design and implementation of Charm workflows.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve CSOL/Retrofit/Downgrade Protection issues.<br/><br/>- Assist with setting up Change cycles, Change types etc.<br/><br/>- Identify Solution Manager related issues, and the design and delivery of resolution and improvement plans to address these issues.<br/><br/>- Assist with Solution Manager system upgrade and system consolidation projects in close collaboration with BASIS team; lead regression testing and validation.<br/><br/>- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base related to Solution Manager and Release Management processes.<br/><br/>- Assist with creating detailed test scripts and complete unit testing.<br/><br/>- Aid in setup and testing of authorizations associated to Solution Manager activities.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications & Experiences :</b><br/><br/>- 5+ years of experience in Solution Manager administration and configuration with a focus on ChaRM and Transport Management in SAP implementations as well as production support.<br/><br/>- 1+ years of experience in using ServiceNow change management processes.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge in SAP Cloud ALM and SAP BTP CTMS.<br/><br/>- Media, entertainment or streaming services industry experience a plus.<br/><br/>- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent written and verbal communication.<br/><br/>- Superb relationship building skills.<br/><br/>- Work collaboratively w/small teams.<br/><br/>- Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.<br/><br/>- Ability to work flexible schedules and available for working various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.<br/><br/>- Able to work overtime and on-call rotations as needed.<br/><br/><b>Not Required but preferred experience :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in SAP Cloud ALM and BTP CTMS.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services.<br/><br/>- Experience working in a global company.<br/><br/>- Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment.<br/><br/><b>How We Get Things Done.</b><br/><br/>This last bit is probably the most important!
