<p><p><b>Welcome to Warner Bros.</b><br/><br/> Discovery the stuff dreams are made of.<br/><br/> <b>Who We Are</b><br/><br/> When we say, the stuff dreams are made of, were not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth.<br/><br/> Behind WBDs vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating whats next.<br/><br/> From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves.<br/><br/> Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.<br/><br/> <b>Your New Role:</b><br/><br/> The Manager of Network Operations is responsible for overseeing the tier 2 operations of the network systems, including hardware, software, and communication links.<br/><br/> This role entails leading a team of tier 2 network operators to ensure the optimal performance, stability, and security of the organizations networking infrastructure.<br/><br/> <b>Your Role Accountabilities:</b><br/><br/> <b>OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT</b><br/><br/> - Network Operations Management (40%) Oversee the monitoring and support of network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, data circuits, DNS and DHCP.<br/><br/> - Team Leadership and Development (30%) Manage the network operations team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.<br/><br/> - Develop and maintain training materials for network operations staff and conduct ongoing training sessions.<br/><br/> - Ensure team is up-to-date with the latest network technologies and practices.<br/><br/> - Strategic Planning and Project Management (20%) Contribute to the development of networking operations strategy and processes.<br/><br/> - Oversee and prioritize operational projects; manage and report on project timelines and outcomes.<br/><br/> - Develop and manage budgetary allocations for network operations.<br/><br/> - Compliance and Security (10%) Regularly review and analyze network performance and the adequacy of existing technologies, making recommendations for improvements.<br/><br/> - Implement and monitor policies for the use of network resources.<br/><br/> - Perform other duties as needed.<br/><br/> <b>Qualifications & Experiences:</b><br/><br/> - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.<br/><br/> - Masters degree or MBA is advantageous.<br/><br/> - Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in network operations or a similar role.<br/><br/> - At least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a network operations center (NOC).<br/><br/> - Extensive experience with network design and implementation processes.<br/><br/> - Experience in managing large and complex networking environments.<br/><br/> - Strong leadership and decision-making skills.<br/><br/> - Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.<br/><br/> - Hours of work will be 7am to 3pm weekdays local time (First Shift).<br/><br/> - Minimal travel anticipated for this position.<br/><br/> - Must have the legal right to work in India.<br/><br/> <b>How We Get Things Done</b><br/><br/> This last bit is probably the most important!
