<p><p><b>Roles & Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/>- You are a key member of a team that builds high-performance, stable, and scalable software services that serve millions of customers globally.<br/><br/>- You deliver top quality code in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/>- You are experienced and capable of playing a leading role to design and develop complex functional changes to software systems, or new ones, involving yourself and other engineers.<br/><br/>- You make good decisions when to build new and when to extend existing solutions.<br/><br/>- You champion operational excellence; you are often the best on-call engineer in the team.<br/><br/>- You provide guidance on design, coding, and operational best practices, and have a track-record of applying these best practices to software that you have worked on.<br/><br/>- You can propose and create best practices proactively.<br/><br/>- You make impactful decisions driving how and what software gets built.<br/><br/>- Your decisions, backed by data, are often right, and you are persuasive in delivering your suggestions and ideas to your team.<br/><br/>- You understand how individual pieces of software fit into a greater ecosystem and can actively communicate and advocate for choices among multiple stakeholders.<br/><br/>- You are an effective communicator as exemplified by your technical documentation, and your interactions with stakeholders and adjacent teams.<br/><br/>- Your success is judged as much on your own productivity as on the positive impact you have on engineers around you.<br/><br/> <b>What to Bring :</b><br/><br/> - Bachelors degree with 2 5 years of experience as a software developer.<br/><br/> - Proficient in Golang (preferred) .<br/><br/> - Experience in building and operating global-scale large platform services in non-prod and prod environments.<br/><br/> - Operational Experience to run services globally; on-call rotation, incident response, playbooks.<br/><br/> - Ability to collaborate effectively with remote peers across disparate geographies and time zones.<br/><br/> - Strong CS fundamentals; need technical understanding of Kubernetes-based microservice architectures, caching solutions, messaging services, DB services, API gateways, service mesh, and infrastructure-as-code technologies/processes.<br/><br/> - Direct experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or other).<br/><br/> - Familiar in establishing and improving data-driven infrastructure and service KPIs such as performance, scale, availability, reliability, security.<br/><br/> - A good understanding of security best practices and a high bar for protecting customer data.<br/><br/> - Ability to implement alerting, metrics, and logging using tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, Kibana, PagerDuty.<br/><br/> - Some experience with persistence and caching solutions such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Caffeine.<br/><br/> - Familiar with asynchronous, non-blocking, functional/reactive styles of programming.<br/><br/> - Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Spring WebFlux, Vert.x, Node.js.<br/><br/> - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on technical documentation.<br/><br/> <b>What We Offer :</b><br/><br/> - A Great Place to work.<br/><br/> - Equal opportunity employer.<br/><br/> - Fast track growth opportunities.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
