<p><p><b>Description :</b></p><br/><p>We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join our highly impactful team to help us build and extend our Storefront team.
A Software Engineer will be responsible for high-quality implementation and consistent maintenance of systems that support auto-complete search behavior on Wayfair's sites.
We have ambitious goals to improve this search functionality to better understand customer intent and map it to the most relevant products and searches on site.</p><br/><p>Work cross-functionally with different roles and your team, such as product management, core areas of the business, to understand the problems we need to solve, and solutions against them in a globally distributed :</b></p><br/><p>- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to understand business problems and translate them into responsive and performant front-end solutions.</p><br/><p>- Build scalable, maintainable, and highly interactive user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3</p><br/><p>- Work with RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data integration with backend services.</p><br/><p>- Use version control tools like Git for collaborative development and efficient release cycles.</p><br/><p>- Create and optimize cross-browser and cross-platform compatible applications.</p><br/><p>- Participate in writing unit tests and maintaining test coverage using tools like Jest or React Testing Library.</p><br/><p>- Contribute to full-stack development as needed using Java (Spring Boot) and SQL, particularly for understanding and integrating front-end components with backend services.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices.</p><br/><p>- Utilize CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes to ensure reliable delivery of front-end applications.</p><br/><p>- Document technical solutions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of front-end best practices.</p><br/><p><b>Requirements :</b></p><br/><p>- 3- 5 years of professional experience in front-end development using ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).</p><br/><p>- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS3 TypeScript, and responsive design principles.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java (Spring Boot) and experience writing or debugging SQL queries.</p><br/><p>- Experience integrating front-end components with REST APIs or GraphQL services.</p><br/><p>- Solid understanding of front-end state management patterns (e.
