<p><p><b>Alert from 4S Advisory (www.4sadvisory.com)</b><br/><br/>Urgent requirement for a digital Marketing Firm<br/><br/><b>Role : </b> Head of Web Development<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Bengaluru<br/><br/>Monday - Friday<br/><br/>Work from office : 10 am to 7 pm.<br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>As the Head of Web Development , you will be a pivotal leader responsible for shaping and executing our web development strategy.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the entire web development function, ensuring the delivery of intuitive, efficient, and high-quality web and mobile applications that align with our clients' and company's growth objectives.<br/><br/>You will lead, mentor, and collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including designers, SEO specialists, content writers, digital account managers, and the PPC team.

This hands-on leadership role requires a deep technical understanding across the full stack, strategic thinking, and a commitment to best practices in code quality, security, and performance.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing our technical expertise and contributing directly to the companys sustained growth and innovation.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Strategic Leadership : Define and implement the technical vision and roadmap for all web and mobile development projects, ensuring alignment with company's and client business goals.<br/><br/>- Team Management & Mentorship : Lead, mentor, and grow a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices and standards.<br/><br/></p><p>Full-Stack Development Oversight : <br/><br/>- Oversee the building and maintenance of responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS), JavaScript, and TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Guide the development of interactive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React.js, with robust integration of WordPress ACF for seamless content management.<br/><br/>- Direct the creation and maintenance of scalable back-end services using Node.js, ensuring efficient data management through REST APIs, GraphQL, MySQL, and SQL.<br/><br/>- UI/UX & Performance Optimization : Drive initiatives to optimize user experiences by leveraging responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap and implementing advanced web performance best practices.<br/><br/>- Mobile Application Development : Oversee the development and maintenance of mobile applications using Java/Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.<br/><br/>- Cloud & Database Management : Manage and optimize the use of Firebase for real-time databases and AWS for scalable cloud storage solutions.<br/><br/>- Code Quality & Security : Establish and enforce best coding practices, conduct regular code reviews, and implement robust security measures to ensure secure, scalable, and stable applications.<br/><br/>- Version Control & Collaboration : Champion effective use of Git/GitHub for code management, reviews, and collaborative development workflows.<br/><br/>- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Lead efforts to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across the entire stack.<br/><br/>- Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web and mobile development, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our methodologies and project outcomes.<br/><br/>- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner effectively with various internal teams (design, SEO, content, account management, PPC) to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.<br/><br/>- Ad-hoc Tasks : Willingly undertake any other strategic or technical tasks as assigned by the CEO.<br/><br/><b>You are the right fit, if you have : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience : 8+ years of progressive experience in web development, with at least 2.5+ years in a leadership or senior full-stack developer role, demonstrating strong technical leadership and project delivery.<br/><br/>- Frontend Mastery : Proficient in HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS), JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and modern front-end build tools.<br/><br/>- WordPress Expertise : In-depth experience integrating WordPress ACF with React.js for dynamic and complex content rendering.<br/><br/>- Backend & API Acumen : Strong proficiency in Node.js, with expertise in building and consuming REST APIs, understanding GraphQL, and managing databases (MySQL, SQL).<br/><br/>- Mobile Development : Proven experience in mobile application development with Java/Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS).<br/><br/>- Cloud & Database : Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS and real-time databases like Firebase.<br/><br/>- Architectural & Design Principles : Solid understanding of responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap) and fundamental UI/UX principles.<br/><br/>- Performance & SEO : Strong familiarity with SEO best practices and advanced web performance optimization techniques.<br/><br/>- Problem-Solving : Exceptional debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities across the full stack.<br/><br/>- Version Control & Collaboration : Mastery of Git/GitHub for version control, code reviews, and effective team collaboration.<br/><br/>- Leadership & Communication : Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire development teams, coupled with excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>In Return, We Offer You : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>A competitive compensation package along with ample opportunities for career growth.
