<p></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Web Development Team Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end web development, excellent leadership skills, and proven experience in managing end-to-end development lifecycles.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring timely project delivery, maintaining high coding standards, and working closely with stakeholders to meet business objectives.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities : </p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead and manage a team of web developers, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Assign, monitor, and review tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and career development support.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and progress tracking.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Participate in coding, architecture design, and code reviews to maintain best practices.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure adherence to software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and industry standards.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure smooth project execution.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and align deliverables with business needs.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Translate business objectives into technical requirements and actionable development plans.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement best coding practices, security standards, and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure proper documentation of systems, processes, and technical specifications.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>Required Skills & Qualifications : </p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong proficiency in back-end technologies : Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or .NET (any combination relevant to company stack).</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of front-end frameworks : React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Microservices architecture.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong written and verbal communication.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment in Kolkata.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- 810 years of experience in web development with at least 23 years in a team lead/managerial role.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Salary as per industry standards.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Performance-based incentives and growth opportunities.</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Opportunity to lead multiple innovative projects in a collaborative environment.</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
