<p><p>As the Manager of CWD (Client Website Design/Development), you'll lead and operationalize our delivery function, overseeing cross-disciplinary product teams (Design, Development, QA, PM) that build client websites.
You will manage full delivery lifecycle quality across design alignment, implementation, content, and QAand act as the operational voice between delivery teams and Product.
You will also own hiring, mentoring, process optimization, and team structure scaling in our India delivery center.</p><br/><p><b>Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p><b>Team Leadership and Culture </b><b>:</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Lead via functional leads and senior managers who oversee Designers, WordPress Developers, QA, and Project Managers (PCAs in the organization).<br/><br/></p><p>- Track KPIs: throughput, QA scoring, cycle time, delivery velocity, and quality.<br/><br/></p><p>- Foster strong culture, communication, and accountability across distributed teams (PODs).</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Delivery Execution and Process Management :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery across all PODs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Facilitate issue resolution: unblock teams, escalate when needed, and align on capacity.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and refine SOPs and standards for delivery and onboarding.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct retrospectives and root cause analysis to improve operational performance.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Client Alignment and Collaboration :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Manage the client-facing PCA teams to align on communication, expectation management, deliverables, and escalations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support and guide PCAs when delivery complexity or technical issues arise.</p><br/><p><b>Product and Engineering Partnership : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure that the development lead successfully serves as the primary escalation point for bugs and enhancement requests.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Own triage workflows: intake, prioritization, documentation, and backlog handoff.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with the product on roadmap alignment, release planning, and feedback loops.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Team Scaling and Talent Development :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Lead hiring, onboarding, and training for FTEs transitioning from contractor-based support.<br/><br/></p><p>- Partner with HR to build standardized onboarding, training, and interview frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor India-based leads toward autonomy and managerial :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- 5 years leading web delivery or digital product teams, including offshore/offshore models.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep expertise in WordPress production from Gutenberg/FSE to page builder frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong people leadership and performance management experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven ability to operate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, QA, and Client Success teams.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Preferred :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Experience with Figma, ClickUp, JIRA, and Confluence.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Demonstrated track record of process improvement and scaling delivery operations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Previous experience scaling a team in India (or similar offshore hub).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
