You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, apply Agile methodologies, and use best practices for version control, testing, and continuous integration.

By staying current with emerging technologies-including GIS (ESRI), database solutions, and microservices architectures-you will play a key role in enhancing and expanding our software offerings.<br/><br/>You will coordinate with the rest of our multi-disciplined team working together on different layers of the solution architecture.

A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and delivering a high-quality product is essential.<br/><br/>Specific Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Architect, develop, and maintain Windows-based applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.<br/><br/>- Implement robust, scalable, and high-quality code that meets product requirements.<br/><br/>- Package, submit, and manage applications for the Windows App Store.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with Microsoft Store policies and guidelines, addressing certification feedback and updates.<br/><br/>- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, UI/UX, and QA to create seamless user experiences.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and share best practices with the development team.<br/><br/>- Optimize application performance and loading times, ensuring superior end-user experience.<br/><br/>- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing codebases.<br/><br/>- Monitor application performance and resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner.<br/><br/>- Regularly update and maintain applications to ensure compatibility with the latest OS features and security requirements.<br/><br/>- Stay current with emerging Windows and C# technologies and proactively recommend improvements to existing products or processes.<br/><br/>- Explore new functionalities and integrations that can enhance the product's capabilities.<br/><br/>Skills & Personal Qualities - Required :<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).<br/><br/>- 4 years of experience in developing Windows desktop or UWP applications.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated track record of successfully deploying and maintaining apps on the Windows App Store (preferred).<br/><br/>- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, or .NET Core.<br/><br/>- Experience with Windows development frameworks (e.g., UWP, WPF, WinUI).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Microsoft Store publishing processes and requirements.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.<br/><br/>- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture is a plus.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of software development best practices (e.g., unit testing, CI/CD).<br/><br/>- Understanding of UI/UX principles for Windows applications is a plus.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.<br/><br/>- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.<br/><br/>Skills & Personal Qualities - Desired :<br/><br/>- To bring industry knowledge world class capabilities innovation and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the Resources industry to deliver business value.<br/><br/>- To work with leading Resources client's major customers and suppliers to develop and execute projects and reliability strategies.<br/><br/>- To harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods people and assets to deliver sustainable long-term solution.<br/><br/>- Experience working with the ESRI GIS framework (e.g., ArcGIS) or similar GIS technologies.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of IBM Maximo or other CMS/work management systems.<br/><br/>Person Specification/Attributes :<br/><br/>- Professional and committed, with a disciplined approach to work.<br/><br/>- Motivated and driven by finding and providing solutions to problems.<br/><br/>- Polite, tactful, helpful, empathic nature, able to deliver to the needs of customers.<br/><br/>- Has respect for others and their views.<br/><br/>- Technology minded and focused, enthusiastic about technologies.<br/><br/>- Analytical, able to raise from the detail and see the bigger picture.<br/><br/>- Dedicated to continually updating and upgrading own knowledge.<br/><br/>- Carries a mind-set of continuous improvement, constantly looking for better and more efficient ways of doing things.<br/><br/>- Values quality at the centre of all things in work.<br/><br/>As an employee, you will be encouraged to continually develop your capability & attain certifications to reflect your growth as an individual.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
