<p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Role</b> : WLAN Automation QA<br/><br/><b>Experience</b> : 2.5 - 10 years<br/><br/><b>Location</b> : Hyderabad, Bangalore, Manesar, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Pollachi<br/><br/>We are looking for a skilled WLAN Automation QA professional to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for WLAN systems, with a focus on Python-based frameworks and wireless networking protocols.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware, hardware, and network engineers, to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of WLAN products.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts using Python and frameworks such as Pytest, PyATS, and Robot Framework.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and implement API automation tests using Flask and related technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Plan, execute, and manage automated WLAN testing for L2/L3 networking and wireless protocols.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with development and firmware teams to identify, log, and track defects, and support root cause analysis.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and manage version control systems such as Git for test scripts and automation frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in integration, system, and regression testing to ensure high-quality releases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with product, design, and QA teams to provide feedback on software and firmware performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to the development of test strategies, test plans, and test dashboards to ensure project timelines and quality goals are met.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills & Requirements : </b><br/><br/>- Strong experience as a Python Developer with hands-on expertise in test automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Pytest, PyATS, Robot Framework, or equivalent test automation frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of Flask framework for API automation and testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking and wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with version control systems such as Git.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex automation and network issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of embedded systems, WLAN device drivers, and firmware interactions is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Prior experience in WLAN or embedded systems testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of network performance metrics, throughput, and latency testing.</p><p></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
