<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/>About the job :</p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps.
The ideal candidate will manage infrastructure, optimize deployments, and enhance reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-native applications.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and containerized workloads.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments and environment management.<br/><br/>- Manage and optimize Docker images, container registries, and build pipelines.<br/><br/>- Configure and administer GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, IAM, and VPC networking.<br/><br/>- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform).<br/><br/>- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization using Prometheus / Grafana.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve network, container, and infrastructure-related issues.<br/><br/>- Ensure cloud environment security, compliance, and cost optimization.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with development teams for application scalability, reliability, and release automation.<br/><br/><b>Requirements : </b><br/><br/>- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably GKE).<br/><br/>- Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration concepts.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of GCP networking (VPC, load balancers, subnets, firewalls, Cloud NAT, etc.).<br/><br/>- Experience in CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps (pipelines, YAML, artifacts, release management).<br/><br/>- Experience with Compute Engine, IAM, and other core GCP services.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).<br/><br/>- Strong Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python).<br/><br/>- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki).<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with Helm charts for application deployment.<br/><br/>- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure/GCP).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of GitOps workflows (Argo CD, Flux).<br/><br/>- Understanding of security best practices for Kubernetes and GCP.<br/><br/><b>How We Work : </b><br/><br/>- We use Microsoft Teams for daily communication, including standups and team meetings.<br/><br/>- Our culture values open discussion, ownership, and a founder's mindset.<br/><br/>- We prioritize exceptional design, UI/UX, thorough documentation, clear to-do lists, and data-driven decision-making.<br/><br/>- Team bonding is encouraged through bi-monthly townhalls, destressing sessions with a certified healer, and biannual company retreats.<br/><br/>- We offer a fully remote workplace, comprehensive health insurance, attractive equity options for top performers, mental health consultations, company-sponsored upskilling courses, designated growth hours, 40 hours annually for community causes, and access to a financial advisor.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
