<p><p><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/><b>Essential Duties And Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Analyze requirements (stories) along with the dev team & identify test scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write tests based on scenarios identified.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use of test management & other tools like Azure DevOps, TestRail, Jira Json, Fiddler, XML as applicable.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify, create test data or update existing tests scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform Peer Reviews and comment the quality of the test cases on complex functionalities (accuracy, completeness and clarity).<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute the tests in multiple environments as per the plan.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exploratory, ad-hoc and negative testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- API testing (manual as applicable).<br/><br/></p><p>- Capture test preparation and execution data as needed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Keep abreast with new tools and technology.<br/><br/><b>Technical Experience :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience on product testing in Agile environment; should know the various stages of product release & QA support needed for deployment validation and testing in production.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in test design and test data design.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with testing desktop, web-based, plugin-based, clients on the Microsoft C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in design, creation, and execution of high-quality reusable manual test cases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in diagnosing issues and share with stakeholders what isnt working correctly and why.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in execution of automated system functional scripts and analysis of their results.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ideal candidates already have at least 3+ years of experience in the software industry as a QA Analyst and has familiarity with testing multi-tier solutions.<br/><br/><b>Experience :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 3-5 years of total experience in software testing, in a complex testing environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good experience on desktop & web applications using manual testing techniques.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to create SQL requests an asset.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with distributed teams on a different time zone.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in using generative AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot/Edge Copilot) into manual/automation </p><p>testing to drive speed and innovation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI and incorporate them into day-to-day work using approved list of tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good to have working experience in test automation of web-based applications (e.g. using Selenium/Playwright, C#) or any other automation tool.<br/><br/></p><p>- Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
