<p></p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Workflow Developer to join our Client Solutions Team, responsible for building industry-leading publishing workflow solutions.
</p><p><br/></p><p>This is a client-facing role that requires a strong foundation in production workflow automation, logical programming, and excellent communication skills.
</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external clients to design, develop, and maintain custom workflow solutions using a variety of modern technologies.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and test new production workflow components and custom-built systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write clean, maintainable code based on written requirements using Test-Driven Development (TDD).<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and enhance existing workflow components and systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Investigate and evaluate new workflow technologies for process improvement and scalability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather feedback and translate feature requests into technical solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Diagnose and troubleshoot workflow-related issues in live production environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Set up and configure new workflows for onboarding new client implementations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide support and technical assistance to internal users and external clients.<br/><br/></p><p>- Travel up to 30% to customer locations as required.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications & Experience :</b><br/><br/>3+ years of professional experience in :<br/><br/></p><p>- Python, PHP, and SQL programming (preferably MySQL)<br/><br/></p><p>- Production workflow automation<br/><br/></p><p>- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and scripting<br/><br/><b>Experience with :</b><br/><br/>- Test Driven Development (TDD)<br/><br/></p><p>- Writing and optimizing SQL queries<br/><br/></p><p>- Version control systems such as SVN, Git, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong logical programming and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/><b>Proficient in :</b></p><p></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Python, SQL, PHP<br/><br/><p></p><p>- JSON, XML, XSL<br/><br/></p><p>- HTML, CSS <br/><br/><b>Familiarity with :</b><br/><br/>- Asynchronous programming<br/><br/></p><p>- Python Twisted event framework (preferred)<br/><br/></p><p>- Python Wheezy Template package (preferred)<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills & Additional Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Client-facing role; English proficiency required).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong attention to detail, time management, and task ownership.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional, Agile team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities and adapting to evolving project needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings, implementations, or support.</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
