<p><p><b>Location :</b> Pune<br/><br/><b>Experience</b> : 2-4 Years<br/><br/><b>Position Overview :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our dynamic team for a project that involves both traditional functional testing (user acceptance testing) and test automation.<br/><br/> The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with functional testing methodologies, and knowledge of test automation frameworks, all aligned with ISTQB best practices.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and functional specifications <br/><br/></p><p>- Execute functional test cases and document results with precision and attention to detail <br/><br/></p><p>- Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after changes <br/><br/></p><p>- Identify, report, and track defects using dedicated defect management tools <br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and validate business scenarios <br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain test automation scripts for regression and functional testing <br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in test planning and estimation activities <br/><br/></p><p>- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and coordinate with stakeholders <br/><br/></p><p>- Provide regular status updates and testing metrics <br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes <br/><br/><b>Required Skills And Qualification</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing with focus on functional testing <br/><br/></p><p>- ISTQB Foundation Level certification (minimum) <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with test case design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables) <br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of test automation principles and practices <br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in at least one test automation tool/framework <br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies <br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills <br/><br/></p><p>- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail <br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team <br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English <br/><br/></p><p>- Autonomy in organizing, steering and managing his own activity <br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualification :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst certification <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Agile testing methodologies <br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of API testing <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with performance or security testing <br/><br/></p><p>- Programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Java, or similar) <br/><br/><b>Tools Knowledge :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Test management tools (e., Xray, Squash TM) <br/><br/></p><p>- Defect tracking systems (e., Jira) <br/><br/></p><p>- Test automation tools (e., Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber) <br/><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
