<p>Key Responsibilities<br/><br/>- Partner with development and systems teams to provide troubleshooting support for application issues.<br/><br/>- Work alongside the Interactive Applications Backend Development team to test and run custom applications.<br/><br/>- Build Functional testing tools and improve existing automation platforms<br/><br/>- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.<br/><br/>- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.<br/><br/>- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.<br/><br/>- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.<br/><br/>- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.<br/><br/>- Monitor debugging process results.<br/><br/>- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.<br/><br/>- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.<br/><br/>- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.<br/><br/>- Perform manual and automated regression, integration, performance, and system testing of web and mobile applications<br/><br/>- Identify, document, and report software defects and ensure timely resolution<br/><br/>- Review and analyze product requirements and specifications and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality standards are met before release<br/><br/>- Publish test reports at the end of each Sprint; Defect Management Analysis and report Triage of defects identified<br/><br/>Technical Requirements<br/><br/>- Experience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and fixing appropriate defects<br/><br/>- Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practice<br/><br/>- Ability to triage problems, prioritise accordingly, and propose a resolution<br/><br/>- Experience testing mobile applications.<br/><br/>- You study and use Java and Scala libraries (for example, Selenium, Apache Commons, HttpBing, jsoup, XML libraries, and JSON libraries) for accessing web elements, XML, JSON, SVN, Jenkins, and data-bases (NoSQL, SQL).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, SVN/Git, Maven, SBT, and Jenkins.<br/><br/>- Demonstrate the capability to work with REST API testing and automation and have performance testing experience (JMeter, Gatling).<br/><br/>- Software scripting skills (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Perl)<br/><br/>- Experience developing automated software tests<br/><br/>- Proven work experience in Test Automation and Automation Testing.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Software QA methodologies, Tools and Processes.<br/><br/>- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.<br/><br/>- Hands on Experience of Selenium and Robot Framework<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Continuous Testing, DevOps and Test Management<br/><br/>- Well versed with JIRA, Google Sheets, Excel</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
