<p><p><b>Description : </b> We are looking forward to hire Azure Databricks Professionals in the following areas : <br/><br/><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Role : </b> Interoperability Architect (FHIR / HL7 V2/V3)<br/><br/><b>Role Overview : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>Client is seeking a Interoperability Architect (contractor) to lead the design and solutioning of a next-generation Interoperability Reference Architecture The architect will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with evolving CMS interoperability mandates such as 9115-F and 0057-P, while laying the foundation for FHIR-based data exchange across payer and provider ecosystems.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Lead the solution architecture for a comprehensive Interoperability Gold Architecture, supporting payer interoperability, clinical data integration, and regulatory alignment.<br/><br/>Provide architectural oversight on all interoperability components involving : <br/><br/></p><p><br/> - HL7 standards (V2.x, V3, CDA)<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - FHIR APIs (R4, US Core, CARIN BB, Da Vinci Implementation Guides)<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - CMS compliance with Patient Access, Payer-to-Payer Exchange, and Prior Authorization APIs<br/><br/>- Design and document end-to-end data exchange frameworks including : <br/><br/></p><p><br/> - Clinical and claims data ingestion and transformation<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - Terminology mapping (e.g., SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm)<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - Consent and identity management<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - FHIR server implementation and validation<br/><br/>- Guide teams in selecting and implementing tools/platforms (e.g., HAPI FHIR, Smile CDR, Mirth Connect, InterSystems, Health Gorilla, Redox).<br/><br/>- Collaborate with client teams, product owners, and delivery leaders to define architecture artifacts, integration blueprints, and reusable frameworks.<br/><br/>- Map interoperability requirements to CMS 9115-F, 0057-P, and ONC standards including attestations, documentation, and compliance strategies.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>- 10+ years of experience in healthcare data integration and IT architecture<br/><br/>- 5+ years of hands-on experience with interoperability standards : <br/><br/></p><p><br/> - HL7 V2.x, V3, CDA, CCD<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - FHIR (R4, STU3), SMART on FHIR, OAuth2, OpenID Connect<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of CMS interoperability rules, including : <br/><br/></p><p><br/> - 9115-F (Patient Access, Provider Directory, Payer-to-Payer)<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - 0057-P (Prior Authorization APIs, CRD, DTR, PAS)<br/><br/><b>Experience with : <br/></b><br/></p><p><br/> - FHIR data modelling and profiling (US Core, CARIN BB, Da Vinci)<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - Cloud-native architecture on Azure+ Databricks (preferred)<br/><br/></p><p><br/> - API gateway, OAuth/Consent frameworks, and FHIR resource security<br/><br/>- Familiarity with value-based care models, quality measures, and payer-provider collaboration workflows<br/><br/>- Strong communication and documentation skills ability to create architecture blueprints, data flow diagrams, and governance models<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- HL7 / FHIR certification or equivalent credentials<br/><br/>- Familiarity with IHE standards and USCDI / TEFCA frameworks<br/><br/>- Experience working with Blue plans, large national payers, or health information networks (HINs)<br/><br/>- Prior consulting or contractor experience within complex payer IT transformation programs<br/><br/><b>Deliverables May Include : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Interoperability Reference Architecture & Solution Design Document<br/><br/>- FHIR API Implementation Guidelines<br/><br/>- CMS 9115/0057 Compliance Mapping Matrix<br/><br/>- HL7/FHIR Integration Standards Guide<br/><br/>- Consent Management and Security Design Patterns<br/><br/>- Technical Evaluation and Tooling Recommendations<br/><br/>- Oversight on Data Integration, Testing, and Certification<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
