The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with a proven track record of designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytical solutions.
You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between data engineering and business intelligence, using your expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools to transform raw data into actionable insights and compelling visualizations.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>Data Transformation and Modeling :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design and implement scalable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain robust data models that support complex analytical queries and business intelligence needs.<br/><br/><b>Business Intelligence and Visualization :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using enterprise BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar, with a preference for Bold BI).<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply data visualization best practices to create clear, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing dashboards.<br/><br/><b>Data Connectivity and Querying :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Establish and manage connections to a variety of data sources, including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and REST APIs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.<br/><br/><b>Custom Development and Cloud Integration :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Use Python to develop custom scripts for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Leverage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for application and database hosting, and to build robust data integration pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration and Problem Solving :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring data quality and integrity.<br/><br/><b>Core Experience :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 6 to 10 years of proven experience in an Analytics or Business Intelligence focused role.<br/><br/><b>BI Tools :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong background with enterprise BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), with hands-on experience in Bold BI preferred.<br/><br/><b>Data & Database Expertise :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Expert-level proficiency in SQL for writing and optimizing complex queries.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong experience in connecting to and working with various databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB) and external data sources via REST APIs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration strategies.<br/><br/><b>Programming & Scripting :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Python programming for data processing, scripting, and custom visualizations.<br/><br/><b>Cloud & Infrastructure :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for database management, data warehousing, and application hosting.<br/><br/><b>Analytical Skills :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.<br/><br/><b>Nice-to-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with Bold BI Server administration, including installations, updates, and configurations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS for enhanced custom visualizations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of data security best practices in BI tool environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
