<p><p>Role Overview :<br/><br/>As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and highly usable experiences that blend consumer app standards with learning psychology and gamification principles.<br/><br/>You will design for parents as the primary audience, while drawing inspiration from childrens learning behaviours, educators, and family engagement needs.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>User Research & Insights :</b><br/><br/>- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to understand user motivations, pain points, and behaviours.<br/><br/>- Translate research findings into actionable insights, personas, and journey maps.<br/><br/>- Continuously validate design hypotheses through iterative testing.<br/><br/><b>Experience Design :</b><br/><br/>- Map out user flows, wireframes, and interaction patterns that align with ZEVOs product goals.<br/><br/>- Apply instructional design principles to make habit-building and milestone tracking simple, engaging, and actionable.<br/><br/>- Ensure seamless onboarding and guidance for new users to drive adoption and retention.<br/><br/><b>Gamification & Engagement :</b><br/><br/>- Conceptualize and design reward systems, progress trackers, and achievement mechanics that sustain long-term engagement.<br/><br/>- Apply behavioural psychology and motivation frameworks to reinforce positive user behaviours.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration :</b><br/><br/>- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to translate UX strategies into functional experiences.<br/><br/>- Incorporate feedback from usability testing and stakeholder reviews to refine solutions.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/>- 3+ years in UX design for consumer apps, preferably in EdTech, learning, or gamified products.<br/><br/>- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, flow mapping, and interaction design.<br/><br/>- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing (Figma, InVision, or similar tools).<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of learning psychology, instructional design, and gamification principles.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.<br/><br/><b>Key Attributes :</b><br/><br/>- Deeply empathetic designer who anticipates cognitive and emotional user needs.<br/><br/>- Creative thinker who can make educational experiences feel playful and engaging.<br/><br/>- Collaborative, iterative, and feedback-driven approach.<br/><br/>- Analytical mindset with attention to detail while keeping sight of the broader user journey.<br/><br/><b>Benefits :</b><br/><br/><b>What We Offer :</b><br/><br/>- The opportunity to design a first-of-its-kind parenting and learning app impacting millions of families.<br/><br/>- Autonomy to explore creative UX strategies grounded in gamification and instructional design.<br/><br/>- A collaborative, passionate, and purpose-driven work culture.<br/><br/>- Flexible work setup and competitive pay.<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
