<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/>Who We Are :<br/><br/>Zinnia is the leading technology platform for accelerating life and annuities growth.<br/><br/>With innovative enterprise solutions and data insights, Zinnia simplifies the experience of buying, selling, and administering insurance products.<br/><br/>All of which enables more people to protect their financial futures.<br/><br/>Our success is driven by a commitment to three core values: be bold, team up, deliver value and that we do.<br/><br/>Zinnia has over $180 billion in assets under administration, serves 100+ carrier clients, 2500 distributors and partners, and over 2 million policyholders.<br/><br/>Who You Are :<br/><br/>As a Sr Software engineer, you will execute on products vision for a modern, frictionless, scalable, API first and persona-driven customer identity and access management system, which collectively result in the best end-to-end Life & Annuities solution in the industry.<br/><br/>You will partner with fellow engineers to create a reusable, predictable, and discoverable design and development framework allowing rapid, consistent, and maintainable customer authentication and authorization solutions.<br/><br/>We are seeking a team player with leadership experience, exceptional users and API security skills, and a proven track record of successful delivery.<br/><br/>What Youll Do :<br/><br/>- Design and implement API policies, procedures, and guidelines.<br/><br/>- Develop enterprise API solutions using an industry leading API platform (Kong).<br/><br/>- Help junior developers to make sure that the enterprise API solutions are implemented correctly and in a timely manner.<br/><br/>- Integrate the enterprise CIAM solution for all internal and external APIs.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with CIAM team to extend its capability to serve our clients.<br/><br/>What Youll Need :<br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.<br/><br/>- 7+ years of software development experience using typescript frameworks like NestJS.<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of implementing OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect protocols.<br/><br/>- Experience in building industry standard APIs.<br/><br/>- Experience in API governance, versioning, and API APM.<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of common DevOps tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring).<br/><br/>- Excellent work ethic.<br/><br/>- Ability to work and travel independently.<br/><br/>- Effective strategic thinking skills.<br/><br/>- Expert level communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.<br/><br/>- Expert level troubleshooting skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional, distributed team.<br/><br/>- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
