As an SSE at Zocdoc, youll balance individual contribution with mentorship.<br/><br/>Full Stack Engineers have the opportunity to work across the stack, front to back and everything in between.<br/><br/>Youll take ideas from inception to reality by rapidly building prototypes, iterating and releasing them.<br/><br/>Youll build scalable products that make the healthcare experience development of consumer-facing applications<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Building products designed to scale quickly, like surfacing new metrics to the provider dashboard, real-time appointment attribution and new functionality that helps doctors optimise their Zocdoc experience<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Shipping efficient and scalable code to millions of users autonomously<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Driving cross-functional collaboration to solve complex problems and foster a culture of openness, collaborating with our agile team of dedicated and brilliant engineers, product managers, and designers.<br/><br/>You will partner with the product and design teams to develop product improvements<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Making a meaningful impact as you own and release features in our CI environment that will impact patients, doctors, and Zocdocrs alike<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Mentoring your peers, with the notion that helping others means learning and growing yourself<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Leading the successful delivery of high-impact projects and features, aligned with technical and business goals.<br/><br/><b>Youll be successful in this role if you have</b></p><p><br/>- Passion for technology and the ability to think critically about the performance, scalability, and reliability of software<br/>- Implemented fast and efficient software solutions using object-oriented functional languages.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance microservices using .NET and AWS Infrastructure, working knowledge of DynamoDB/NoSQL databases and async communication, e.g RabbitMQ, sns, sqs<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Some of the technologies we utilise are .NET (C#/.NET Core), React<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Designed and built user-facing web applications that scale<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience on AWS cloud platforms<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- 8+ years of professional full-stack development experience.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of React is a plus, as is experience writing automated tests<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Successfully mentored other engineers in the past and encouraged your peers to use software development
