The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and Kafka.<br/><br/>As a Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing backend services and APIs, integrating with cloud-native technologies, and supporting real-time data processing using Kafka.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java 8 and Spring Boot.<br/><br/>- Develop and integrate microservices architecture, ensuring seamless communication between distributed components.<br/><br/>- Implement RESTful APIs for internal and external use.<br/><br/>- Work extensively with AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and CloudWatch.<br/><br/>- Build and manage asynchronous messaging systems using Apache Kafka.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.<br/><br/>- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to maintain system reliability and performance.<br/><br/>- Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive engineering best practices.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java 8 or later.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.<br/><br/>- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices.<br/><br/>- Solid experience with AWS cloud services, especially Lambda functions and related serverless architecture.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in building and maintaining Kafka-based messaging systems for stream processing or asynchronous communication.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and standards.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
