Job Description :Solution Development: Design and develop customizations, extensions, and integrations for Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet business requirements.Requirement Analysis: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements.Testing and Deployment: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards. Manage the deployment of solutions to production environments.Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support, resolve issues, and perform system maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of Dynamics 365 Business Central environments.Data Migration and Integration: Facilitate data migration from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 Business Central and integrate Business Central with other business applications and services.Performance Optimization: Analyse and optimize system performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to ensure efficient operations.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for solution design, development processes, and user guides.Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, security policies, and best practices for Dynamics 365 development.Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training to end-users and team members on Dynamics 365 Business Central functionalities and custom developments.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices for Dynamics 365 Business Central and related technologies.Skills and Qualifications :Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often required.Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including AL language, Visual Studio Code, and the extension development environment. Knowledge of C/AL, C/SIDE (for migrating legacy systems), and familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is beneficial.Experience: Prior experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV development is highly desirable. Experience with ERP systems, business processes, and database management (e.g., SQL Server) is also important.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, think analytically, and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and end-users.Project Management: Understanding of project management principles and experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.Additional Requirements :Certifications: Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV are advantageous.Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with collaboration and version control tools like Git, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in a rapidly evolving environment.
