Position Title: Intermediate NZ Tax and Management Accountant
Work Set-up: Work from Home
Salary: Php 75,000.00 – Php 95,000.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PH Time

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN NZ TAX AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities as an NZ Tax and Management Accountant:
• Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients
• Prepare and lodge Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships
• Review client accounting records in Xero, etc. to provide accurate and timely management reports
• Providing assistance in relation to a range of taxation matters including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST
• Assist with some bookkeeping duties and clients with tax planning, GST
• Management reporting as required including annual budget preparation and reporting through a 3rd party software and providing narration and advice as required.
• Able to work with not-for-profit charitable trusts preparing annual reports.
Qualifications as an NZ Tax and Management Accountant:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years experience as a tax compliance accountant working for a New Zealand accounting firm
• CPA or similar certification preferred.
• Proficiency in XERO, Spotlight Reporting, Approval Max, CCH Workpapers, and Office Suite products.
• Experience managing multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
