Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship Trainer
Based – National (remote worker)
Contracted weekly hours is 36 hours per week
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our college partners suitably qualified and experienced Lean Manufacturing Tutors/Assessors to join our team. Due to increased growth, and expanding client demands we are looking to increase our team with current specific focus in the Midlands and Berkshire area.
The role will include high quality training, coaching support, assessment planning, monitoring, and formal reviewing of the apprentice’s progress towards meeting the apprenticeship programme and supporting the candidate through to end point assessment.
There may also be a requirement to deliver short courses on employer premises.
Will need to be able to deliver the following -
Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative - Essential
Level 3 Improvement Technician - Essential
Level 4 Improvement Practitioner - Desirable
Level 4 Process Leader - Desirable
Level 3 Team Leader Supervisor - Desirable
Level 5 Operations Departmental Manager - Desirable
Functional skills to level 2 - Essential
Qualifications:/Development coach
Continuous Improvement Qualifications above level 3 essential
Engineering and Manufacturing qualifications level 3 and above – essential
Lean Six Sigma Green/black belt - desirable
Management qualifications – desirable
Project Management Qualifications - desirable
Maths & English Level 2 and above - Essential
Teaching/Assessing qualification – Essential
Functional skills – to level 2 in math and English – desirable
Requirements:
Experience in the introduction, implementation and delivery of Lean programmes
Practical work-based experience of using Lean methodologies and able to give examples
The ability to engage and deliver at all levels
Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
Strong organisational, analytical, and reporting skills
Work on your own initiative – delivery plan alterations and adaptions
Initiative and creativity – opportunities to help write new courses
IT skills – Eportfolio skills – Smart Assessor ideal
Record keeping
Experience within a training environment
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
