                           Roles and Responsibilities  
 This position requires an experienced professional with a background in various related domains such as Automotive Security Systems Engineering, In-vehicle gateway
 security requirement, Cloud connectivity & Security, Body controller module, Keyless entry module design, development, and testing.The Security System Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Lead would focus on designing, development & validation of next gen Security systems for vehicles like gateway, Body control, vehicle access control modules, evaluate technology &perform trade space
 analysis in choosing technology 
 Role in brief:  The Security System Engineer role is defined as
 1) Experienced in Security Systems Development such as Gateway, Body control, Digital keyless access
 2) Interfaces with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements, domains, viable technologies and development activities for Security System and associated systems development.
 3) Alignment between various systems, Hardware, Software, UI/UX team and other stakeholders
 4) End to End to product management life cycle management for Security systems involving following stage- conception, Requirement generation, Specification definition, Project development tracking, System functional testing, signing off for production, and postproduction support.  
 Key Roles and Responsibilities  Core responsibilities
  Involve in defining the features from user story level to detailed functional requirements.
Collaborate with different teams & stakeholders and ensure that all details are available for successfulimplementation by the engineers.
  Be aware of the advancement in Automotive security threats and countermeasures.
  Represent system requirements and proactively review their implementation during the software sprints.
  Benchmarking and awareness of competitor products and innovation in offerings from automotive &consumer product landscape
  Be IP aware in area of Security system and strive for growing company IP portfolio
  Define the testing &validation requirement for Security systems.
  Define & review test plan & test cases
 Supporting stakeholders
  Responds to customer and stakeholder queries concerning Security system feature definition and issues
  Provides technical inputs to RFI / RFQ process- To Sourcing and Sales / Marketing.
  Works with Engineering Program Management to provide feasibility and planning information. 
  Participates in internal and external technical reviews, as required.
  Propose and initiate automotive technology projects and activities aligning with department levelroadmap.
  Focus on searching, experimenting, and deploying cutting-edge systems to achieve enterprise level strategies. 
 Skillset:
 Systems Engineering:
  Good knowledge of Body control module, Passive Keyless entry module, Gateway & Security requirement.
  Experience in end-to-end management for above modules starting with requirements preparation toproduct delivery
  Functional Knowledge of Hardware &software security measures
  General understanding of Hardware Security Module &Security systems
  Excellence in analytical thinking, problem solving & Root cause analysis 
 Automotive Engineering:
  Knowledge vehicle Electrical and Electronics architecture.
  Good awareness of Various vehicle domains, systems and components, Automotive Development life cycle & Embedded Software Development life cycle
  Experience in Systems development methodology - Use case elicitation, Requirements Management, Functions analysis & allocation, architecture design, verification & validation.
  Experience in Change and Configuration management 
 General:
  Ability to communicate complex ideas seamlessly and persuasively to peers, management, suppliers,
 customers, and other stakeholders.
  Good technical knowledge, planning &organization skills in relevant areas.
  Good team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to build force multipliers and mentoring young engineers.
  Good risk management skills, experienced in performing trade space analysis and weighting safety against availability / allocation.
Strong analytical, logical reasoning &problem-solving skills.
  Effective Communication to be able to deal with cross functional team members- Marketing, Design,Hardware, Software, Vehicle systems & Validation.
  Fluent in communication - Written and Spoken English.
 Education & Experience Requirements:
  Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics &Communication/Electrical Engineering
  Experience in Automotive product development ( Gone through at least 1 or 2product lifecycles).
2 Years minimum in Automotive Gateway & Security Systems development
